Day 1
|
Upon arrival at the airport of Aleppo, our guests find our representative to assist them. The bus brings our guests
to the hotel where a welcome drink is offered. After a short rest, dinner is served in the hotel. |
|
Day 2
|
We have the morning to discover Aleppo and visits of the Great Mosque, the Citadel and the Souks give a good impression
of Syria's second city. In the afternoon we drive to St. Simeon for a visit of the sanctuary named after this saint
of early Christianity. After a rest in the hotel, we invite our guests to join us for dinner in one of the nice
Arabic restaurants of the city and live music and dance give this special Arabic atmosphere. |
|
Day 3
|
After breakfast we bring the guests to the castle of Ibn Wardan. A visit of this sadly famous castle is even more
interesting because it is located in the middle of the desert On the way to Aphamea , we pass Hama and nobody can
pass this city without visiting the famous Norias. In Aphamea our guests experience that Syrian nature is extremely
diverse. Here we find a very fertile region and thanks to the efforts of recent years the former swamps of Syria
are drained and cultivated. Behind this decor, we visit the site of Aphamea and the castle. A short drive up north
brings us in Sergilla, one of the most interesting of the Dead Cities and it is here where our guests camp and
enjoy a rich barbecue. |
|
Day 4
|
After breakfast we drive to the castle of Saladin. Located on the top of a mountain in an area of forests, one
easily gets convinced that Saladin must have been a man of great ambitions. We continue our trip and the bus brings
us to Kasab, a small village in the upper north of Syria where a lot of Armenians live. Lunch is served in a famous
fish restaurant. Afterwards one can visit the Armenian church or go for a walk. In the late afternoon the bus brings
us back to Aleppo and at night we organize a special farewell dinner. |
