program. Just to give an idea about the variety of activities, we
will hereafter give you some suggestions:
- Nightly city tour by bus upon arrival in either Damascus or Aleppo
- Visit of an Hammam In either Damascus or Aleppo
- Visit of for example a brocade factory or a goldsmith
- Performance of the Dervishes
- Classical Arabic concert
- Arabic theater play in one of the old houses in Damascus
- Belly dance performance or even a belly dance lesson
- Visit of one of the patriarchates in Damascus
- Visit of the palace of a famous merchant family in Aleppo
- Visit of an arak distillery
- Visit of a stock farm for horses
- Visit of the SOS village in Damascus
- Attendance of a Bedouin marriage in Palmyra
- Search for truffles in the desert of Palmyra (only in early
spring)
- Meeting with the Bedouins in Palmyra
- Water sports like surfing, water-skiing, jet-skiing in Lattakia
